DRAWING & PAINTING AT TURNBERRIES COMMUNITY CENTRE
Looking to start a new hobby or brush up on your painting and drawing skills? Why not join a small friendly group for all abilities that meets at Turnberrie's on Wednesday evenings, 7-9pm. Tuition and/or support will be given for a variety of styles and techniques using different mediums and styles to portray subjects that include still life and life drawing.
The fees are £60 for 12 weeks - that is only £5 per 2 hour session!
Indian Cookery Classes - Bookings now being taken for March
Using easily available natural ingredients, Romy will teach you how simple it is to create the most delicious authentic Indian Cuisine.
Learn how to spice up your vegetarian dishes, cook a mild buttered chicken or how to prepare and freeze a time saving curry sauce from subtly spiced to hot.
What ever you cook you are guaranteed of taking home a different feast of flavours of your own creativity from every class!
Thornbury Community Garden - Open to Public from Saturday 13 September 2008
The Community Garden, situated next door to Turnberrie's is open everyday to the public, from morning till dusk. The main entrance is on Upper Bath Road. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the relaxing experience the garden offers!
